Food | | Excellent Neil Perry designed menu with a good variety of a la carte options at any time of day depending on where your body clock is at. Food is freshly prepared to order by the team of chefs in the open kitchen and arrives promptly. Portions are not huge but ordering multiple dishes is neither problematic or time consuming. |
Drinks | | Proper Melbourne coffee and a good selection of cold Champagne kicks things off appropriately. Large variety of self serve options as well including filtered water taps. |
Seating | | There are a variety of different seating options to suit everyone's needs and preferences. The armchairs beside the windows with views over the apron are always popular. The lounge feels spacious so it absorbs people well. |
Cleanliness | | Always exceptionally clean and well maintained in my experience over the years. |
Washrooms / Showers | | Washrooms are private and spacious and shower facilities are available. Amenities like shaving kits used to be provided but presumably have been axed to save costs. |

Families | | Families are welcome in the lounge and there are separate rooms that can be used with small children to provide some extra privacy without having to worry about disturbing other guests. |

Gate Access | | Flight announcements will give you sufficient time to reach the gate but some can be a distance from the lounge so it's worth leaving promptly. |
